What is your career anon? I work in risk management, particularly in Third Party Risk for a global international company. Work is easy and reminds me of consulting, but on a mini scale and with specific risk management policies attached.
Salary is 2600 USD net monthly. For Baltic countries it is comfy. Share your stories..

I am a mechanical engineer in WI and I only make $60k and I want to die. 20/45hrs in a work week I am browsing 4chan because my job is so easy and brain-dead since my company doesn't do any innovation. I got my degree so I can order parts from a catalog and file paperwork when the orders are incorrect. I wish I went into software development instead. I thought all through HS & College being an Engi would be massing cool shit but it is literally just paperwork and excel.

Tell me more about IT consulting. Does it intersect with Enterprise Risk? I might be switching teams within one big team and can be in ERM. What is required for IT consulting?

on-premise (SharePoint ) server Administrator 130k, but cloud is taking my job, slowly but surely. I likely wont have a job after 2 years, but there's no way I'll ever make this money again, so I'm slowly watching my career burn out and die

Janitor/maintenance. I spend 5-6 hours doing actual cleaning/repair, then I spend 4-5 hours watching youtube. Pay is good. The key is to make sure the boss has low expectations for you

I'm a doctor, specifically an anesthesiologist, at a somewhat famous academic institution I make 470k a year (which is really good for an academic hospital) and genuinely enjoy my job a lot. I am slowly pivoting into informatics and tech on the side. currently getting a masters in informatics on the side while still working about 45hrs/week. I have basically already made it from crypto, but dont think I will retire as I enjoy my job too much and am still only 33yo, so dont want to throw in the towel yet regardless of money
