Just did some basic math using the wallet list on ethplorer
To make the data a little cleaner I only counted wallets that held at least 1 whole LINK, which is somewhere around the 483600th mark. Total holders are ~669700, so that shaves off nearly 200k addresses
Anyway 1K link puts you around top 3.5%, which is pretty wild honestly. Kind of arbitrary how much link needs to be in a wallet to be a "real" holder so in practical terms a 1K wallet is less exclusive than it might seem

The lesson here is to only compare to your past self and to always improve each day.

There will always be opportunities in the future to increase your wealth.
The key is not to go all in like a degenerate with LINK, but to survive in the markets long enough to make it and to properly learn how to invest so that you can find other good opportunities, know when to take profits and how to manage your risk exposure so that you will always keep a minimum amount of your money in the worst case scenario and have enough to continue.
Making it is a process which takes 5-7 years at least, not an event.
