remember: maximalism ≠ only owning bitcoin
that's altmaxi tier delusion

you'll find most bitcoin maximalists bought the ethereum premine

most of early bitcoiners, yes. In any case the most vocal ones today are weird old fanatics that heard about it post 2020. These people find it most attractive because, ironically, it's the easiest thing on earth to grasp and far simpler than most other decentralized projects. I'm only from 2016 but I moved 100% of my BTC into ETH over the course of years because it has a better value proposition and I gradually accepted that the SEC fud was hollow. I know 3 2012-2013 bitcoiners and all own a significant amount of ETH.

Lmao, if I held BTC I would have 5k instead of 500k.
Bitcoin is good if you want low risk low return by crypto standards, but even then you would have been better buying any tech stock over the last 5 years.

the bitcoin maximalists of today are no better than the altmaxis of today
they just picked bitcoin as their emotional attachment altcoin, in place of ethereum, or chainlink, or moneo, or any of the other "hot alts" of the day

>> No.49462645

>>49462014
its what most late-adopter emotion investors don't get. early adopters just see bitcoin as money, not an investment, technology, or gamble as altcoins are.
the only imperative is to outperform bitcoin, or else you might as well pack up and go home.
