Infura are running a Chainlink node. Had a discord bro call me he was literally crying, saying "I thought we controlled the markets, I thought we were in charge" over and over again.
Spare a thought for the discord fudders during this constant stream of good news, they're doing it tough,

People will call me a fudder but whatever - i really don't care about node operators. The network needs data consumers. Give me some big user saying they're using existing feeds in some way.

You've gotta plant the trees before you can eat the fruit anon.
Think of the other two big things we've got coming: CCIP and the industry frontend abstracts away specific blockchain features allowing industry teams to build without having to design around the ever changing L1/L2 landscape. They can just build their product and then plug it in to Chainlink and Chainlink will take care of routing everything to the relevant blockchain.
I guarantee that teams are building with this in mind right now, and after we get CCIP/frontend then it will only be a matter of months before major industry products start to launch.

I think it's safe to say that if JPM is running a node then they'll be also consuming data. The lack of imagination of people in this place is a shocker at times. News like this is going to become more and more frequent as we progress. It's what I would consider a sure thing now that we're going to make it, yet people are still whining. Unreal.

Of course feeds have to come first, but a lot of feeds are completely unused. At this point what would show real establishment of the tech is corps coming in a setting up business which uses the feeds, probably by getting into defi themselves.

>>49453629
I don't think that necessarily follows. We've had quite a few entities put out a node because it was basically free money for a while but had no place to use decentralized data. Wasn't some spanish government department even running a node a while ago.
