the difference in PoW is you can always compete with the rich guys whereas in PoS competition is literally impossible from a protocol perspective. Also PoW has a limit on how many miners you can have, i.e. at some point you need nuclear reactors if you want to keep growing out your operation.
The two are so far apart you can't compare them in the slightest
