The point of crypto is to cash out on new investors. In a hypothetical universe where people don't cash out given the opportunity then the asset class is just worthless because it's not producing anything. The only thing you can do with it is to sell it to the greater fool and that's why the boom-bust cycles will always be the story of crypto.
