If a useless piece of shit NEET wanted to stop wasting his life at 28 (I know, tons already gone) and attain a skill, would it be better to go to uni or attain a trade skill?

Asking for a friend.

Trade unless you can pay for school and expenses
College is fun but long if you want to make real money, ie lawyer, doctor, engineer, psychiatrist
A trade is faster and makes more

Thanks for the feedback fren. I can afford uni and even get a neetbux study program in my country to pay for my rent + most of my tuition if I go that route. I boiled my options down to;
>Comp Sci, Electrical Engineering, or Medicine (I know I'd be an old fart by the time I start working, but medicine has always fascinated me) in university
>Heavy machinery-based trade.
If I take the trade pill, I'd want to do something that doesn't destroy my back or joints. That's the feedback that a lot of tradies on here gave me. Apparently ironworkers, plumbers, carpenters, etc... all get spinal stenosis and fucked up back issues with age.

Feeling hopeful and like there's still time to achieve great things. Just have no idea which direction to focus that energy

Many of these guys don't eat healthy or learn to stretch properly and they smoke and drink in excess. If you treat your body well you'll end up okay.

This is probably true. If you are a fit lean-built calisthenic-god for the rest of your life there's no way you're getting your back fucked up by squatting or leaning over to fix a pipe.

>Comp Sci
Do you need a uni degree though? You probably won't be the next Andrew Ng, and whatever most coders do is trade-level stuff
>Electrical Engineering
Based
>Medicine
That's crazy commitment. Your call, but I'd say if you're thinking of other options, maybe this one is too much

Good luck anyway

you are right about the heavy work in trades...
i would say carpenters arent too bad, but that is very dependent on what you are doing
electricians are def the easiest (w.r.t. physical labor) at your age id say electrician is the way to go
