>"SPENDERS could be here" he thought, "I've never been in this CPI range before. There could be SPENDERS anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare chest. "I HATE SPENDERS" he thought. Pump It Up reverberated his entire car, making it pulsate even as the $90000 wine circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of inflation in the economy. "With a printer, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.

What inverse etf are you considering? It's tricky because I'd happily buy a put on something, but the cost barrier ($2000+) is a bit of a sticking point if I get the timing wrong. I'm long 4 shares of SRTY because I'm also doing the Inverse Jim Cramer meme (he's bullish for the summer). SQQQ seems to have a lot of swing, and I'd hate to get whipsawed and lose money as it crabs downward.

Oil, I'd rather long producers at this point, rather than have commodity exposure via a futures etf (eg I prefer HEU.TO over USO).

I already have a pox play via CMRX, missed the boat on SIGA and I don't want to fomo in

Yes, inverse tech because nasdaq has been bleeding the most. I think if I just hold through the waves, instead of timing a swing, overall it will dump more than pump over a week or two. obvisouly this is assuming the bottom isnt in for a while yet. might just be better to buy tech to go long with how much everything has dropped already.

I've been piecing out a small/medium collection I bought just before covid. I feel like a good chunk of it was stolen from various stores (nobody buys 4+ copies of the Angrath commander deck from Ixalan). I have a few repack listings of like 20 uncommons, or 1000 commons, or 10 rares or something. For the low value shit like that, I make my money on the shipping (2.87, for a basic envelope and stamp?) It's worthless so no tracking is needed. Over 30 sales with no issue.
Otherwise, I keep my listings to perhaps $5-$15 cards, nobody has bought like $60 worth of shit or scammed me yet. It's a slow burn and I get maybe 1 sale every 2 weeks.
I could be doing more, eg more rare listings, or selling 4x chase uncommons. I don't crack+flip, I want to purge my old junk for a profit and condense down.

I do own about $4000 in sealed and $1200 in RL cards, though.

>it takes time for the collection to be liquified
This is how you make your money.
If you're a normalfag that needs to sell their collection for cash, a store is going to offer you like 30%. They'll give you $5/1000 commons if you're lucky, and pay pennies on the dollar for your good cards (and usually consider <$5 as bulk). If you want to make money, you need to have the patience to piece it out yourself and that's where the opportunity is - the quicker you want to move it, the bigger discount you have to eat.
Ergo, I paid about $200 or $250 or so. I used a site like BlackKnightGames's buylist model, said "this is what you'd get at a store", and offered an extra 5% or something on top of what the quote would've been. I still have probably half of it left. I can still probably squeeze out another $1000, and I'm sure I'll scoop up another collection or two once the food prices get silly this winter.
Oh and after taxes, fees, shipping, overhead, and (eventually) lost revenue from mistakes/theft, you're probably looking at a 20% overhead, less cost of cards

Last two are fake unless you want to mix german and japan shit together as one because you know you don't have a point.
The attack on the soviet union was because germany was running out of time. They had to win then or they were screwed as they were spreading too thin and being attrition'd to death.
Regardless if they had waited anymore, the nukes would've hit them instead of japan, so that makes no difference in the outcome.
Japs are always insane, even their fighting style outside the us was insane. Even their remnants post-war were insane. That said, their governance was extremely effective until they got coup'd in the 80's.

I believe my shipping cost is $2.87. The final cost of a stamp is $1.04 or so. I buy envelopes from a dollar store. I purchased team bags and toploaders and reuse my old sleeves. I put the card in the sleeves, put the toploader in for support, and add a few goodies to the team bag (full art land, maybe a foil or some tokens). I seal the back of the envelope with a blank sticky label from a roll I "borrowed" from work. I keep the weight under 30g to avoid extra shipping fees. Otherwise I slap the address and stamp on it, and pop it in a post box.
Typically I'll price a card at 80% of scryfall's value and just ballpark it. Obviously if they buy multiple cards, then I won't charge them extra shipping. I do charge additional for each bulk repack I sell, though (eg $1.87 for the first, and $0.87 for each additional). Someone bought 10 packs, which were 8 uncommons and 2 rares. What a silly

>You think collections will be liquidated due to food prices?
Think about how many whales there are playing vs the average normalfag. You'll probably get 2 or 3 whales in a store to every 20 regulars at an FNM or whatever. Those are the ones that will sell their collections, not the whales or big players. Eventually they might piece it out or sell it in lots, but they aren't going to liquidate it unless you give them a good price (and even then they'll probably hold onto their very expensive cards or sentimental ones).
So you'll get probably meme or themed commander decks and mostly modern cards. But if you're able to scoop everything up at a reasonable price (eg below 40% current market price), you can still flip it over time and come out ahead.

Anyways, since the average person/player lacks impulse control, they probably don't have a lot of free cash, which means when times get tough (and they will), they'll be trying to generate some extra money if they get desperate.

The lack of development and infrastructure means that little of this potential is actually in use today

People use cash accounts to trade SPY 0 dtes, unlimited daytrades and cash settles the next trading day (sell Tuesday, cash is ready Wednesday morning). Only limitation is if you traded so much in a day you run out of settled cash, but 0 dtes are cheap. Even a deep ITM 80 delta call is around 300 because it's almost all intrinsic value.

I legit hope they do hit for you, but just know that if they do you're gonna be getting a phone call from the SEC because the chances of calling a 50% increase two weeks out without insider information is hilariously, mind-bogglingly slim. Although I do suppose there's enough public information available about the spread and them having the only truly viable treatment that it's still kosher.

Kids are having a slumber party with Mom for summer vacation. Just finished a pint of 7. Time to flog the dolphin and get some respite. Life is good bros. Good luck out there tomorrow.

Oh, and since you mentioned TSLA, I also made a purchase order of 15 shares of TSLA today*
Weird, it's like we had a lot of similarities to our day today. Did you also slack off and bullshit around all day, or were you productive?

*Not real buy orders, because it's for a stock simulator (I'm a newb learning)

Based, we are going to make it, brother

I've started browsing biz more this year hoping to finally learn how to get some income going for myself, and to get inspired to be more productive. However, instead of studying and working in projects I end up posting frog pictures on biz all day long

Are euro markets an obvious short ? They seem fairly high compared to their ath despite the huge inflation which Will soon be worse than the us inflation and the ECB being even more retarded than the FED.
