Basically I'll be turning 26 in a month. Kinda scary because I am still broke and depend on my parents. Some bad things happend to me in this life which destroyed my confidence to put myself out in the world. Its been this way for years now. I told myself I was going to uninstall every game and start from there. Just do a dopamine detox.

I will be returning to the US so I was wondering what would be a good course of action for someone my age? Keep in my i am broke and only have experience in customer service. I guess just give me some motivation to quit gaming or just give me some advice thanks

Deliver food. It will physically remove you from the games and give you that constant dopamine hit from consistent effort giving consistent payout, only this time the rewards are tangible. Do it all while listening to some favorite game soundtracks on a pair of nice headphones. You'll start to associate driving and delivering with those positive gaming emotions.

It takes considerable will power to resist doing something you want to do. It takes considerably less will power to substitute the activity. Gig work can fill any hour of the day, do you can always be making progress.

you could join the air force for 4 years. no you wont die for israel but you will learn how to be independent and you could save up enough capital to start investing and start college there too if you want.

A lot will depend on how supportive your parents are. When I was 26 I had spent a few years gathering stuff to live a great life and then my mom absolutely bogged me, which I will probably never really recover from. Lel.

Alternatively, if you want something hardcore there's team trucking. It's effectively a rolling prison cell. You drive 11 hours a day, your partner drives 11 hours per day. Make six figures, no commute no mortgage. It's miserable, but if you are already miserable then you might as well be monetizing it. Not possible to shirk responsibility since you are stuck in the truck until the load is delivered.
