Has there ever been more fear in the market than now?
Fear in the market, on the streets, in the headlines, absolutely everywhere. Everyone in paralyzed fear from young to old, poor to rich, retail to institutions. ATH demoralization on all fronts. Even during depression world war times people weren't this much in fear even though they were near starving to death.

Today I saw a kid run out of a store while waving some bag of candy at his friends while yelling at them in panic INFLATION INFLATION INFLATION because the bag costs more, again. I don't think kids were doing that even during actual hyperinflation times. And let's not forget the 2 years of pure fear spewing scamdemic reporting.
Even if everything reverts back to "normal" in like a year, many will stay mentally fucked from all this till the day they die.

Now you understand how is millennials have felt for the last decade. And no, this isn’t even the half of it, not even the quarter of it. It will get much much worse. Great Depression levels of bad. Your central bankers and central planners can’t save you because they don’t even realize how much of a mess things really are, their hubris doesn’t allow them to.

I mean just today the main news headlines on even the most mainstream standard sites were were the CEO JPMorgan saying 'Brace yourselves for an economic hurricane' and Musk saying he has a 'super bad feeling about the economy' while looking to fire 10% of his workers.

Is 17 years of bear market for only 4 years of "bull market" fair?

Pic related isn't even the money supply adjusted chart (Nasdaq is down -50% from 2000 peak). The market is unironically extremely undervalued

>> No.49358465

what the fuck would you even fear? price dips? this happens all the time. the fundamentals are still there.

when you see entities like HBAR foundation allocating hundreds of millions of dollars in order to expand the ecosystem then you know for a fact that something big is brewing for the next bull makret

Yes, I remember how during the great depression and world wars people didn't seem as afraid as now. Even during the height of the cold war when we were hiding in our underground bunkers it wasn't as bad as now.

Not really. The economy isn't even that bad, the "problem" is that there's too little unemployment and too high of wages leading to inflation. It's the craziest recession ever, the fundamentals of the economy seem OK but everyone's still spooked and uneasy.

Idk but this just can’t be true right? Like, there’s no way its that bad out there. Also literally every person I know made money off of COVID (before inflation). Literally nobody lost all the wagies who lost their jobs made more from government payouts than they did working

I think you hit the nail on the head. however wages have been pretty stagnant in the northeast. I can’t speak for all the states but NY,NJ,CT,RI,MA have barely seen wages move, yet everything is going up.

I was offered $18 an hour to manage a small business. I was making that 5 years ago as a shift supervisor. Shits insane here. You can either push carts for $15 an hour or manage teenagers and drug addicts for $18.

Right now people are worried and think the future is not going to be great. September 2008 you had actual fear, sweating and everyone flailing about.

It should still be bear but going down. Work places have been filling up with faggots, niggers and women yet the economy has been going up. It's all borrowed time since 2000.

Literally no one I know or see IRL has a sense of worry, nor do I.

I still have a job at a company that actually had a good quarter just now. Customers still come through. The economy is in fact still functioning.

The only ones that need to be worried are boomer industries that need to get their knees blown out anyway.

Things move slowly. It doesn’t all happen in one day. Of course we are going to have inflation, but we are going to have somewhat low rates. Even if it is 4%, which we will not get to for a while, we’re never going above five. Every percentage increase is $1 trillion per year added to US debt obligation. This is going to be a slow burn, not some sudden crash. There’s still time to make money.
