how come this board only talks about crypto and nothing else? surely crypto is not the best way to earn money. i tried nfts for a bit, yea you can make some money but it's pretty valueless and scammy. cryptocurrency might be less scammy but it is still valueless most of them. how exactly can you make money if it's bought with us dollars? if the us dollar goes down so will crypto. why not just buy stonks or open some kind of business? i never see oil stonk threads or business idea threads. surely there are small businesses we could come up with for the same price as your crypto wallets that would be more profits consistently with less risk. crypto seems like you're all just gambling and you actually don't know which one will go up or down.

crypto is web3, which has the greatest potential for growth of any industry. growth is the safest way to get returns for anyone decently intelligent.

yea i do like web3. but why are there so many irrelevant coins? only a few seem to actually do anything and those tend to be pretty stable i suppose. eth, xmr, cardano seem legitimate and purposeful. i am sure there are others

is it too late to just start accumulating monthly? what if you are just starting, putting a small amount every month. i feel like in the recession opening a business will not be as possible. people wont buy as much perhaps. but at the same time there are 40 trillion printed dollars floating around.

I agree.
I am all in for Tesla.
In 7 years *AT WORST* I will have at least three times the money I invested.
This idiots are gambling on a crypto Ponzi scheme instead of investing in companies that are creating real products with huge growth potential.

/biz/ is useless now for and real money making, instead it is filled with crypto gamblers.

probably a good move considering elon has made multiple vehicle companies without going bankrupt. and he just wasted 450 billion so he definitely has expected returns . i should do this as well

Show me a way to buy stocks without being dependant on some boomer retarded brokerage that only allows me to trade during certain hours and takes multiple business days to transfer funds in and out of the account.

CRAZY.
I invest LONG TERM in growing well run companies.
Seriously, I only buy or sell stocks ONCE a year.
I do not even LOOK at portfolio more than 4 times a year.
Get a JOB for daily living, invest a percentage of that over many years in good companies and you WILL be able to retire comfortably.
Those who forgo the crypto get rich insanity for long term investments WILL actually make money and be retired comfortably

Note : SOME 0.001% crypto investors will make BILLIONS, the rest will lose money or at best barely break even

I understand your concerns and I totally agree with you and I also think NFTs with good utilities will give some great value. Have you reviewd Honeyland NFT? Its NFTs can be traded for other tokens and assets that have real value on the market place. DYOR

I am all in on Tesla.
I sold Apple and Microsoft and everything else,
took my 500K and went all in on Tesla.
The LOW estimate I have is 3X my money in 7 years, the HIGH is 50x.
Nothing else seems to have this potential.

I would NOT have done this IF Tesla was not the number one pick for young engineers to work at AND had it not already have sold every car it will make this year AND be expanding worldwide.
Tesla make a damn good car and the Tesla bot has potential to be even a bigger money maker than the cars.

what about taking the money you would have spent on crypto and buying real estate with a mortgage then renting it out? or starting some kind of business with it. or just buying oil stocks and random various companies like mcdonalds and tesla and shit. companies that are either successful like tesla or are protected by the us government like coca cola and mcdonalds. i just mean isn't there a less risky and more frequent way to get returns

>i just mean isn't there a less risky and more frequent way to get returns

ALL true, BUT these return 7-20% a year on investment.
A new tech company that succeeds can return 40-50% a year.
The problem is finding a new tech company you believe in.
Unlike software companies, Tesla makes a REAL product that is VERY well made and well reviewed.
Tesla car owners LOVE their cars and often suggest others buy one.
Buying Tesla now is like buying Apple 15 years ago.
I do NOT think I will lose money investing in Tesla, the WORST case I see is 3x my investment in 7 years (and even this is acceptable)
