is it hard to swing trade bitcoin for 5% gains every couple days with like $2000?

If it was that easy for any midwit to compound their networth by +5% every single day then you'd be hearing a lot more success stories about it.
What will happen is you'll get lucky on a few trades but eventually you're gonna buy into positions that keep dropping. i.e. buy BTC at 60 after it drops from 65k, then buy again at 50k, then again at 40k, then you're all spent and BTC is hovering around 28k. Down on all positions.
If you think selling at a loss to minimize further downside is a good strategy then you're really gonna get rekt by shit timing.
My advice:
Just keep stablecoins on the side (preferably earning 8%+ yield while waiting to buy new positions), then when you see big drops start buying. Don't go all in on one position. Ladder your buys on the downtrend for less risk less reward instead of chasing pumps. Then just wait for the recovery and take profits at whatever point you are comfortable with, whether it's +10% or +100%.
