is bybit safe? kucoin?
i don't trust centralized exchanges i'm afraid any money i send will never be seen again. there is an element of trust involved and i have trust issues. pic related is my face when i join an exchange and then it comes time to make a deposit and i can't do it.

Not your keys, not your coins. That being said I've never had a problem with Kucoin, but since they don't need KYC, if your account ever got locked for any reason, good luck getting it back. Personally I never keep more than a small portion of my portfolio on any exchange just to be safe. If the token you are buying has its own wallet, use that instead.

bybit is pretty cool, just give them an email and they provide you an account number
no asking for phone number or home address as long as you don’t want to withdrawal more than 2btc per day (it may be more than that now)
