oldfag here, been through 3 bubbles, AMA

>> No.4925479

When should I buy
Should I go to eth or just tether?

>> No.4925484

Yep. Sold right before it started crashing.

>> No.4925487

>>4925442
bounce off the resistance line or trucking down to sub-10?

I already pity the retarded normies that are buying right now on literally no support in the middle of nothing. It's like they don't even know the most basic shit

>> No.4925494

>>4925442
I bought the the dip thinking it was a slight dip and sold the dead cat bounce thinking it was a good time to buy Monero. I am very stupid but very lucky it seems.

can you post a screenshot where you outline this?

I have my money in fiat, but I was thinking of buying the dip.

Tether a scam. Just google it. Many articles about it, even on bloomberg.

Bounce off like 11k then """return to normal""" before crashing to 2k

>> No.4925521

I didn't need a warning to sell, just feeling the market.
Made a safe and small +5% shorting.

where's the likely floor?
any plans 4 years out?

>> No.4925596

i did, a bit late though, 14.5k i'm new at this. bought in at 11k. now looking to buy the dip, which i expect will be soon. how low will it go, how will you know when the dip is here. i assume 12k but maybe 13.5k or maybe fucking 10k for all i know it's crazy. but 12k seems to match past trend lines, though after such a massive bubble im not sure how true the bounce back will hold to past trend lines

How low do you think BTC is gonna fall when this bubble bursts?

I posted this at the peak. When the mempool hits new ATHs it's always a trend reversal. Some people agreed with me. I hope those people in that thread sold.

Also bitfinex/tether is clearly doing some fraudulent stuff right now and will probably blow up like MtGox within 3 months. Seriously read up on it. How does a company like that survive 7+ months without a traditional banking solution after Wells Fargo cut them off? How can they have 850+ million in USD backed tether when they don't have a bank, couldn't even fulfill a single 1m tether redemption request, or pay out a single dollar when their customers lost 72m to a 'hack'

>> No.4925721

>>4925596
I don't believe trend lines mean much because of how many factors are at play. For them to matter you need to assume their are no whales manipulating the market and that all the people who have been awaiting a crash since 9k will behave rationally

It all depends on emotion so I wouldn't hazard a guess, the current price doesn't reflect any fundamentals. There's a lot of guides on the psychology of trading. Trading in the Zone is good. There's a reason the bubble meme charts use emotional labels, it's cliched but true, most people trade on emotion; that's one of the few fundamentals across all markets and throughout all history, and emotional traders are not meant to be rich in the long run.

This.

>> No.4925887

>>4925534
My experience tells me when it's trying to push the resistance it breaks on the third attempt unless something (generally related to fundamentals) drastically changes.

Wall Street is probably having a field day with your chart.

Do you find /biz/ is a pool of people manipulating others to buy into pools they want to artifically "hype"?
Piggybacking on this whole psychology idea, I see way too many posts and threads running along of pushing that "FOMO" button hard.

It can be difficult to run through comments and differentiate between legit opinion and clever scam tactics.

I know but it's not going away anytime soon imo
When should I buy? How hard is this shit going to crash?

>> No.4925996

>>4925892
I believe its more a case of wanting other people to validate your opinions in a scenario where you have to make trade decisions fast.
People who are good at trading long term are not necessarily good at trading during a crisis.

I've only recently discovered /biz/ but I would say it's a good resource for checking the raw emotion / psychology in the market. I wouldn't use it as my only emotional gauge but it's part of the toolbelt. And like most of 4chan every 50 threads or so you find some really good discussion about new / interesting topics. I just assume 100% of the hype threads are by people who just invested heavily into something and are looking for confirmation they made the right move.
