But they are not the only ones, everyone else is doing the same. This results in increased inflation, which destroys the value of your money. Yes, even in crypto. If Stacy and Chad see that their measly 0.1 bitcoin is worth $100k, you can bet your ass they are going to spend it quickly and others are going to realize they can charge more satoshis to everyone and retards would still pay it, affecting your own spending power. If this continues on for a while, you end up with hyperinflation.

This inflation is a fault of fiat and could be different in a pure 100% crypto valuation market because of hard coded limit for maximum amount of coins, because demmand could counter the increased prices, but that is too far away yet. The fact is that for now crypto has to coexist with fiat, and that makes the whole system vulnerable to the inflactionary problems I previously described.

tl;dr: adoption of crypto is not widespread enough yet, let it crash or your own bitcoins will be worth less.
