I have around $300 to get started with crypto, what should I go with? Thinking Monero but shill me on your choice and I'll go all in.

Monero will give you good solid gains but over a loner time frame

If you want to get rich quick with 300$ you need to play with the shitcoins that will probably scam you

>> No.4884146

if you don't want to invest in bitcoin itself, xmr and bitcoin cash are your two best altcoin choices.

Wrong.

vergens are so pathetic, always living in Moneros shadow, desperate for acknowledgement, when they do get acknowledged its embarrassing as fuck for them.

Cryptos are on the verge of crashing into oblivion, every investor worth a damn realized this not too long ago. I'd recommend you to research a bit on vending machines, word on the streets is their the next big unexplored market segment.

>> No.4884341

Monero is a solid bet OP, ignore all the shills and if you want to gamble sketchy altcoins, just make it like 5% of your portfolio or less.

The volatility of crypto ensures that no coin is safe from extreme fluctuations, but you should go with a split of risk that accords with your sensibilities and circumstances.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Any thoughts on fun? It seems like a solid idea: gambling isn't going anywhere.

Almost every shitcoin has a good idea behind it, but I can't think of a single one that has actually served it's purposes apart from Monero (anonymous transactions and storage, broadly adopted by darknet), Ethereum (metacurrency for other projects essentially), and of course Bitcoin. XRP and Dash get 2nd class honours.
