You mean the coordinator? That eventually goes away once we're out of infancy. Blockchains are also basically centralized in their infancy, it's just less obvious. If I was willing to spend a million dollars (probably less) on hardware I could essentially take over almost any shitcoin just via hash power alone.

IOTA eventually provides for WAY more decentralization than any blockchain. Any crypto that has "miners" is at risk of being centralized - really, WILL become de facto centralized on a long enough timeline - due to the financial incentives. Bitmain undoubtedly controls over 51% of the BTC hash power. Is this better or worse than the (temporary solution) of the coordinator?
