No, futures aren't going to crash the price, they allow people to bet both for AND against bitcoin without having a stake. If anything the price will rise due to investors hedging their short bets or doubling down on their longs.

The CME futures are going to stablize the price somewhat (as there will be market pressure for stability, with people betting for and against) and legitimize BTC as an asset class.

Scarcity will keep the price on this meteoric rise now the normies have started reeing.
