Javascript is taking over. JS devs will be rushing into blockchain tech and they are all gonna use Lisk. $50 minimum this time next year.

JS is a nightmare though. We need a new language first and foremost, and a new security system on top of it to prevent shit lile js-based malware and spying (e.g. a capabilities-based feature). JS code is always slow, buggy, leaky, and above all ,dangerous. You are right that adopting it means a really good chance of mass adoption but still.
