Sergey is dying. His weight gain coincides with the progression of his illness. As his illness progresses and his body deteriorates, he has to take more and more time off. Doesn't look like any blockchain is involved here.
You should know that APIs are consulted literally billions of times every day within the banking industry alone.
What Chainlink does is convert this API data into data that can be entered into a blockchain, thereby allowing for trustless processes like smart contracts.
And btw, the EU is about to force banks to open up their APIs to third-party providers (like Chainlink). Freaking huge.

GPI is Swift's flagship project, and it deals with cross-border payments.
There has been a DLT proof of concept (Fabric blockchain), and they'll reach a decision on whether or not to incorporate this into GPI this month.

This has virtually nothing to do with Chainlink.

So GPI is an extremely important project for Swift, BUT it is still only part of an even bigger initiative: ISO 20022, which Swift considers the basis of the global financial networking of the future.

Guess what else Swift listed as an example of ISO 20022 implementation, right alongside GPI?
