Look here my good man, all TA analysis can be paraphrased as "This will happen because of these patterns here". What wishful thinking is saying is "This will happen because it'd be nice if it did". These two statements do not change the future but both can be used as tools for your trading/investing strategies. The flaw with TA in my mind is that it takes information just from a single chart in order to predict movement. That prediction is based on countless hours that other people spent in researching the theory behind the market. With wishful thinking, if you're good at it, you can take into account ALL of your current knowledge, if you feel that your WT prediction is too good to be true than you can spent time researching the project, what news may be coming, competitors and so on, then you do another WT analysis (which takes like half a minute to do btw) and you end up with your prediction. We'll talk again when LINK draws a straight vertical green line after we hear substantial news.
