Did ripio fuck up their ico??

I was reading some shit about ripio and how it's a "scam" because I guess they didn't lock the tokens so they started trading on ed before the ico ended? Can anyone red pill me on this?

I like the project and I'm gonna invest but just curious why and how that shit happened

I tend to agree, just saw a ribbit post saying ripio is a scam because of some delay in their ico while it was already trading on ed

Seemed like a retarded reddit post

I guess I have to go back now...

What happened was that they were about 45 minutes late on opening the ICO to the whitelist. There were angry and pissed off people (including me-- I was late for work) but it wasn't a scam. Some truly mad impatient faggot during those 45 minutes posted on Reddit that it was a scam and that post stayed on the first page of Google for over a month. That right there probably turned away many potential investors who saw that post on first glance when they searched for Ripio on Google.

They didn't lock up their tokens but that's not a scam. Incompetent maybe but it's not a scam in any sense. There are ICOs prior to this that didn't lock up their shit either, the difference is that it's popular now to dump coins on EtherDelta below ICO price when the ICO is still going on to drive the price down to accumulate, regardless whether the coin is good or not.

How big does everyone see ripio getting in a best case scenario?

I know for sure it has potential to 50x but can it 500-1000x? 500x would be around 30b market cap, ambitious for sure but maybe way down the road if it becomes the dominant player in the space is that realistic?
