Hm true. What do you think about it vs Lumen?

Every fucking day with this exact same thread. Let me sum up how this is going to go OP.

I expect the $0.22 levels to hold, at least in the short-term. The rebound is likely to face a stiff resistance at $0.25 levels, which is the 50 percent Fibonacci retracement of the fall from $0.281 to $0.2195. Just a few days back also, $0.25 had acted as a strong resistance.

Once above this level, a rally to $0.28 and thereafter to $0.3 is likely.

From what I understand there is a small possibility it could replace the painfully slow SWIFT system.

The founder of Ripple moved on to Lumen

/thread

>> No.4717519

>>4717493

Yes but that doesn't make sense. Lumen and Ripple have different uses so just because the founder moved to a particular one does not mean Ripple is bad. If Lumen is so good why does it's price suck right now compared to ripple?

Ripple has a development team of 150+ people, it's team is very responsive to the community, a vast amount of ripple was locked away in escrow. It has strong support and many partners. It offers a solution to the high costs of global bank transfers. It's a great idea that is feasible in the short term. It's been discussed as being on the shortlist for Coinbase, and meets the Gdax criteria

Do you think Ripple will stand a chance against supposed competitors like Dash or Lumen considering how much of a market Fin Tech is going to become?

I have read about this as well.

SWIFT, for the non-educated here, is about 20 years old and is the corporate banking vehicle used to transfer money between accounts. It is a well tested and embedded technology however. To give an example, a $ 180,000,00.00 transfer using SWIFT takes about 3 days to clear, whereas using the 'fidget' spinner, which is now in use, takes 3 seconds. That's what has caught the interest of investment managers. One of the issues is that experienced investment managers just think it's the same as what existing Fx platforms do already.

It's annoying that it's been labelled a cryptocurrency linked to Bitcoin & darkwebs which is different. These types of coin can be used to purchase goods and in turn use another vehicle to transfer the money.

Eh- or perhaps it's just that it seems like a long term investment considering how Fin Tech is probably going to be a pretty big market in a few years while Ripple also has a dedicated company and some pretty decent innovation.

Isn't Ripple also very efficient compared to SWIFT in terms of lowering costs?

So what's your opinion on what would happen to Ripple if SWIFT implements Chainlink?
