Hi, /biz/
Relatively new to the CC game- I have just dipped my toes in the water to get a feel for it all. I have around 2k I can still invest, and have already invested in:
1 Ethereum
1 Litecoin (bought both ETH and LTC at the recent correction)
35 Shares of Iota
100 Shares of Ripple
and, regrettably, some shares of Parateum that I am "bag holding". Sorry if I misused the terminology, still catching on.

Any input on my current portfolio, or suggestions for what to do with my free capital? Diversify elsewhere, or dump more into what I already have?

I am strongly considering dropping a considerable amount in SIA via Bittrex- or should I just drop more into ETH/LTC? Some other alt?

Thanks for the input! I will take your advice lightly, and do my DD before making any moves.

You're using that correctly. ETH/LTC will be a safer ride than SIA but might not get you as much of an increase. Risk/reward and all that. Watch ETH and LTC very closely this evening or go ahead and set your sell orders near where you think they might top out. And they will top out for sure, so unless you want to ride out a dip in hopes of another pump in future you'll want to have those sell orders in place.

low risk, medium reward is what I predict for your bag

for higher risk and higher reward, low-medium cap coins like DOT, CFI, ALQO, EXP, UBQ

Thank you for your response! Sorry if this comes off as ignorant, I just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly.

You suggest I sell my ETH/LTC before another dip happens while they are still up, to profit a little, then (I am inferring) buy back in when they take another dip? With ETH and LTC, I anticipated that they will be rising much higher than their current state in the long-term, so I was just going to hold onto those. Is it best to frequently sell at perceived highs, buy back at dips, as they fluctuate even if you plan on holding for long-term?

I suppose you might recommend against dropping 1k into SIA; are there are other alt coins you might suggest that have a safer bet of high return to drop the 1k in?

Thanks for the response! Yeah I was shooting for coins that might pay off in the long-term, and obviously didn't invest too much as they were my first "At-bats", if you will.

So a higher cap means that there is low-risk, and low to medium reward? The coins you mentioned, do you suggest them for long-term or for short-term flips?

Yes. Or you can just hold long term. It's two different strategies aiming for the same thing. I get bored and enjoy making 15% every time it goes through the motions on a week to week basis. Just holding is probably better if you're new to this game as you don't need to worry about miscalculating the market swings.

Ah okay, I understand your meaning. Any tips on resources for improving my accuracy at predicting/calculating market swings?

One last question:
I've been using Coinbase for my ETH/LTC purchases, but the weekly 300 limit is... well... limiting. Are there any other places to buy these with USD?
