So people just buy bitcoin with hopes of cashing out on it with real money?

no, how wold you think that, of course it went to 11k because people were running out of food-tokens to use at the supermarket

Some websites allow you to, but it's not practical. Bitcoin's transaction and confirmation speeds are abysmal, and transaction fees for Bitcoin are practically criminal.

If you plan on buying things with BTC, don't until the miner fees are practically zero in 2020

>> No.4686420

You don't. You never spend your hodling BTC ever. If you need to buy some steroids, buy BTC for spending instantly.

So there's no point in using it.. Other than holding onto it in hopes that you can make real money off of selling it

now you're getting it, its been outclassed by better tech over the years. No point in riding in a horse drawn buggy when you can be in a lambo.

How many normies are realistically using bitcoins for pizza, or any shopping for that matter.

I would say the real winner is the guy who runs the site, but what person in their right mind would pay with their bitcoins for a commodity that they can just use real money for without going through a middle man. I'm sure he has some customers, but it isn't something I'd use it on.

Bitcoin is not ideal for the exchange of goods and services, but for the exchange of real currency.

At which time the miners will proceed to work for free. Sound's like a plan.

with the transaction fees what they are why not use zencoin or monero? You'll still not be holding onto it for an appreciable amount of time, and you'll do better on the fees.

You don't.

Congrats, you just realized that this is all a game of greedy normies and desperate autists trading air with each other
