Just bought $5k of BTC with fiat as it hit 10k mark. It's either going to drop 10% from a dump, or breaking the threshold will cause it to moon even harder with the mainstream exposure it will receive over the next 48 hours.

My Dad - who I've been trying to get into BTC for ages - finally asked me about how to put money into it this morning. I convinced him to accept 0.142 BTC in exchange for a debt I owed back mid October and made sure to setup a folio for him so he could check it's value and the fact it's almost doubled since then seems to have won him over.

>Tl;dr we're most definitely at the point boomers will start putting money in.

I sold half of my position back during the $5K reignt at $4800, even though I made a lot of money, I'm starting to regret it. Really didn't think it was possible to rise this fast.

I probably lost around 1-2 btc selling early, just goes with the market. Maybe you can make it back when it crashes or with an alt.

i think anon originally offered to pay the debt with BTC in october but his dad declined.

however, because btc has doubled in price since october, his dad finally agreed to settle the debt with btc at today's market value.
