Get all your coins out of bittrex asap unless you want to be part of the upcoming class-action lawsuit to get back a few pennies on the dollar on what you got now after they declare bankruptsy!

I wonder what OP has to gain by saying that. Most other threads here are obvious (shilling, FUDing, FOMOing pink wojacking), but this one?

Does he profit somehow by trying to remove users from holding in bittrex, and if so how?

Can I get a source on those claims?

OK, I just see a bunch of shit on bitcointalk.org and reddit about salty people who had their funds locked or can't be approved to withdraw much if at all. Some are threatening or organising a class action law suit.

Could be true, could be not. Could be all bark and no bite. INAL so who knows if a lawsuit like that'll actually impact the business of bittrex.

BitTrex is now partnered with UpBit. So... There's no fucking chance. Bitfinex is the one fucking around with tethers.

>> No.4563475

Honestly I don't trust bittrex. They lock people's accounts too willy nilly.

bittrex is such a fucking mess, the only things I ever hear about it is complaining about how it locks accounts, locks funds and about how it doesn't work

A lawsuit could potentially trigger business to freeze while the case is ongoing, and that means it'll kill any profits. If they're scammy/dodgy they could declare bankruptcy voluntarily and simply file away their existing profits and disappear, with investors left holding bags (or no bags at all). By time the liquidators come onboard, all the exchange wallets are cleaned out and there's literally no way to reverse them, or even figure out where it went. Not like it's cash stored in a regulated bank account.

Bankruptcy doesn't happen just because a company ran out of money. There are different types of it too.
