It was worth it when I could buy 14 RX580s for $209 after rebate, yeah.

In all I invested right around $5k in both mining rigs. My hash power is around 400 MH/s, which currently nets around 1.6-1.8 ETH/month. When I started, though, the rate was closer to 11 ETH/month (and fell substantially).

If you do the math, I'm making around $800 a month in ETH with about $180 worth of electricity.

I'd say it's worth it for me.

I don't think you can even find GPUs for anything under $400 a piece now, though.
