The only crypto I actually believe in.

Feels like slackware Linux when I got in to it in 96, a real movement.

And just like Linux, there will be a few years of being misunderstood, and then the flood gates will open and the normies with their MCSA will be beating down your door

its got everything except scalability, but that can be solved as adoption increases, the fundamentals (unironically) are there. Privacy, fungibility

>> No.4541747

>>4541711
but even then, it doesnt need to be scalable any time soon. it already do just a little bit less than what visa can handle, which is much much more than most other crypto

>> No.4541791

>>4541711
>its got everything except scalability
since block size is adjustable right now scalability is only limited by bandwidth and processing power
and i don't think we will have problems with that soon enough

>> No.4541859

I'm very tempted to sell all my BCH at 50% gains for XMR, although it feels kind of annoying because I could've made pretty much the same gains buying XMR 2 weeks ago and just holding it, and I was badly burned buying XMR at all time high before.

I do believe it has the potential to go top 5 on CMC though, and soon.

I'm waiting for it to drop back down to $120.

Also can someone explain the scalability issue to me and why it's a problem.

Dont invest in monero thinking its going to become the visa of crypto, it aint.

Invest in monero if you want your own superior-to-swiss-bank-account - without being an oil tycoon, political figure or otherwise world-rapist

Probably can't, but at least the devs and miners of XMR realize that scaling on-chain is simply impossible for the kind of transactions that could be done with cryptos. I guess the challenge is keeping the privacy good when doing off-chain scaling.
