Hey all. New to /biz/ and have a related question. I was just curious as to how many of you have an MBA, and if you do, how hard was the process? Just had a meeting with my university and have been thinking on it for awhile. It's pretty expensive at my school, and before I look in to loans, fafsa, etc, I want to hear people's experiences, and for that matter the level of success they've found afterwards. Thanks again.

Watch the entirety of Breaking Bad, start to finish, and you have an MBA.

You think I'm joking about this, but I'm not.

Bump. Is paying off the loan relatively manageable?

Depends. MBAs are courses for people with clear objectives on their minds, being either changing areas or getting an upside for management positions.

So, you should prepare first, save money to pay some of your tuition and only get a loan if you absolutely can't save enough for the full course.

I did an MBA to change areas and saved enough to pay everything, but I know it was only possible because I was a banker.

Americans have this credit mentality where they think it is all good because they can take a loan but it is probably one of the worst decisions you can make.
