IT can be fun depending on where you work.
I'm currently an operations engineer at a company making an java application. We have a server farm with 70 servers and only one product on there so it's easy once you learn the product.

I mostly chill at work trading and writing some python for automation of my tasks.

The more automation I write the more I can relax n shill out. Also have to solve try and solve errors from time to time but it's okay.

Before this job I did the exact same thing but in a huge company where we supported IT infra for other companies. It sucked and was stressy.

They don't just make you code, they generally move you around the entire tech department - depending on the size of the company.
