nocoiner here, finally have saved up some money i can use for this, and want to buy bitcoin.
i've been reading around a little; how do you think the fork will affect prices? should i buy now, soon after the fork, much after the fork...?

>> No.4185495

Buy alts by averaging the price everyday until the fork, and sell for bitcoin if you want.

Don't buy now, wait for the correction. Or you can buy now, sell at the top and rebuy at the bottom, but you will probably do it wrong.

Ill copy pasta what i put in another thread because its relevant.

Just dollar cost average into coins and pull them out as you need the money. If they dip buy more unless there is a market reason not to. Probably dont sell unless you actually learn what you are doing. But the general sentiment you should have is sell when you can not because you have to. Always keep your portfolio balanced so you dont fall into this trap and lose all your money.
