I want to shed some perspective for you. About a month or so ago, bitcoin lost close to $1,200 in value. That triggered a WEEK long downward slide. Eventually bottoming out around a loss of $2,000 in value. Then a major buy went through, whom at the time a lot of people speculated it was JP Morgan, that's neither here nor there though...

Because a few days ago bitcoin lost ~$800 in value. Now, going off of previous trends-- that should've triggered a downward trend, at least for a few days, right? Nope. That $800 slide was recovered in about 30 minutes. And continued to push the upward trend we are seeing today

Is it still possible that bitcoin will crash? Abso-fucking-lutely. But, with each fork, with each media article, with now futures markets, those crashes are becoming less and less frequent and overall, likely. So, keep spreading your FUD but you can't ignore the facts.

All the 800$ loss with no downward slide indicated to me is that it was banked until after the fork and will cause an even bigger fall after the fork.
