If you had some capital outside VTC you don't have to sell to go chasing moon missions elsewhere.
FWIW, I've been looking at vertcoin for a long time too, but never bought because I didn't bother installing the wallet and I never leave significant amounts on exchanges. Regret, but not as much as yours.
