really pissed today

i started crypto like 4 months ago, turned 1 BTC into about 5 BTC, but mainly was holding shitcoins. Watched it fall last few weeks... 4, 3, 2 BTC, now today I'm almost back where I started at. Like 80% down or some shit. With the way things are going I'll probably be losing money. Feeling retarded, if I'd just sold everything into BTC 3 weeks ago I'd be way fucking up right now

There is no reason to buy now if your outlook is long term risk reward is awful. Wait for the eventual bear market, this uptrend is unsustainable anyone telling you otherwise wants to pump BTC even more. BTC is known for -35 to -40% drops

I, and many others, can relate. My goal has been to make short term / oppurtunistic gains on alt's...even a +20% overnight is nice if you're gambling with 0.5 BTC. I then sell and put the profits into BTC, a little into LTC. Yeah I've missed several 5X's and shit, but my main stack of hodl is BTC and I'm up 70% since I started...modest but it doesn't keep me up at night.
