It's called contango. I sold the option for them to buy it for me for more than it's worth and charged a premium. So basically I have a cap to how much I can make on this by that date, but if it goes down I can just keep the premium so the loss will be less red. Then there's the sweet spot where this goes up but not high enough to be in the money.

Btw, I think I saw some of you JNUG holders getting hit yesterday. That was an issue with EU monetary policy, which caused the dollar index to shoot up.

Don't add or average down on any precious metal position right now. I think around early November is when Trump will give an indication of who the next chairman is. Apparently Yellen is out of the running.
