Don't forget obsidian you get 10% of your investment annually just from stacking

>> No.4062164

he already wrote an article about this on his blog

if you stake stake it, and there are token burns = token 2.0

REQ and OMG are token 2.0

>> No.4062194

BNT and all other smart tokens.

>> No.4062273

>current
none of them

some from this "first wave" will survive, much less than 10%, more like 2 to 5%, but "2.0" as he puts it, just means the wave of tokens launched after the bubble on tokens pop, and most of not all of them go below ico prices.

at that point icos need to do more than just build some empty hype, release a plagiarized whitepaper, and launch their sale. they're going to need to have a solid economic model around their token, and most will be of the "buyback" variety, as there are very few very difficult ways to implement tokens into a product that doesnt make it more expensive and more difficult to use.

Read his article where he explains his token economy model. Both OMG and REQ are perfectly in line with it (staking & burning mechanisms). Maybe a few others as well.

>buyback
Just a tool to promote an ICO (see BMC). Buyback program has nothing to do with token economy per se, just some kind of investment de-risking.

Is there a link? How old is this article?

>> No.4062459

I'm creating tokens 3.0. It will revolutionise finacial industry.

How it works is it equalizes money.

Basically if a poor nigger has 4 coins each coin will be worth $100.

But if some whale has 4000 coins it will be worth $0.1.

It's called proof of wagecuck ( POWC )

but they're not tokens "2.0", they're just the ones that have a slightly above chance of not going to zero for the first round of them.

a buyback is the most basic way they can fund their company with a token without ruining their product adding a token that serves no real purpose, that's all. all of the current fee tokens are going to have a very hard time keeping value.

>> No.4062709

>>4062509
Well, he never expained what excatly 'token 2.0' is. At the current stage it's all speculation, but given that this article is new I suppose that staking and burning features are what he's talking about and definitely mandotoryfor token to be considered 2.0. Most likely there will be more.
>going to zero for the first round of them
Main use case for most of the tokens now is trading. I don't think they will go to zero until ~50% of token market consists of next-gen tokens. And I doubt it will happen soon.
>buyback is the most basic way they can fund their company
Yes and that's all. Having buyback programme !=being token 2.0
