What's the point of inheritance when the odds are you're going to be an old man by the time you get it? I stand to personally inherit $5 million in property and more in cash from my parents, but it's not going to happen until I'm at least 60. At that point I'll be too old to enjoy that money anymore. In the meantime, the actual good decades of my life are going to be spent suffering as a poorfag. The vast majority of my life is still guaranteed to be complete shit even if I'm wealthy one day. OP I can relate to your situation. I understand the way you think because I've actually had the same thought as well.

I'm not hoping my father to die, per se. He's a good guy and all. A family man, a hard working man. But his insurance money could be life changing for me and the rest of my family, that's why I've had that thought.

For people who are bashing OP: he's not sick, he doesn't need therapy. It is just he is a very pragmatic and (perhaps) has a machiavellian-utilitarian way of thinking. I know because I am similar to him.

People are different. People have various ways of thinking, various perspectives.

I know it's frustrating to live poorly and to keep wagecucking, while you could use your 6m inheritance money to pursue your dreams and goals. But if you believe that your parents are stingy with money, I'm afraid you have no other choices.

I couldn't offer you any solutions. I'm just here to let you know that I feel you and I sympathise with your situations.
