I'm a uni student studying IT.

I want to start a business focused around designijg and integrating computer systems into newly developed properties and actually installing them as a subcontractor.

I have no charisma and no experience and can't pitch an idea about new-fangled gizmos to some old construction manager and I have no idea how a business works.

What do I do?

You don't need charisma. That's like saying you need a Lambo to drive to work instead of any old car. But if you're that awkward: do improv classes. Join toastmasters international. Do drama classes. Privately (for the love of god don't upload it online) record yourself rehearsing pitches, look at what you're doing wrong from a abstracted position and analyze your body language, intonation of your voice, which USPs you put forward, the way you emphasize certain selling points.

Better learn how that industry works. Start googling. Walk around construction sites and observe see what goes on. Ask for a part time job on one, then use that as your in.

I dunno anon, haven't you put ANY thought into this yourself!?
