Back in 2013, I bought 100$ worth of btc to buy drugs off silkroad. btc was around 7$ at that time. I had about 3k$ at the bank that time, and my delusional drug addict friend was telling me "dude you should totally invest like 1000$ in bitcoin that shit's going up all the time you'll be rich". I ignored his advice and listened to the fear mongerers telling me btc is overpriced and is a bubble and lost interest in crypto until 2017

Literally what happened to me. My friend was like "They've gone up from like $1.50 to $10. They could be worth more than $100 one day!" When I told him I didn't have 1k to invest he said to ask my parents, and I was like "yeah, no, there's no way they're going to take the advice of my psychedelic wizard friend".
