Sup NEETs and autists. Here's my story. In the mid 2000s I quit a lucrative systems operations job to become a full-time professional gambler.

Poker at first, when the money was easy.. moved out to Las Vegas, playing full time. Started making more money from home exploiting casino signup bonuses and sportsbook arbitrage/match betting. Started writing bots to automate the gameplay so I could exploit bonuses faster. Started hiring people to manage running dozens of bots for me as the money was rolling in like crazy. 23 years old, making fucking bank and living single in Las Vegas... fucking amazing times.

US bans online gambling, money starts drying up. Spend a year dedicated just to cashing out /laundering all the money I had sitting in dozens of casino accounts all over the fucking place.

Discovered bitcoin, began using it as a method to move my funds around. Immediately saw the potential of a decentralized deflationary currency and with my tech and programming background I was hooked. I started mining for fun, earning thousands of coins. I started buying them up before they were even $1.

My plan was to secure 1% of the total market cap of bitcoin (210,000 BTC). I knew from the start this would be huge and I would be set for life.

Well as bubbles came and went and real life and other priorities happened I didn't quite reach my goal of 210,000 BTC. But I got close. Not to be too specific but I hold over 160,000 BTC to this day. I'm not selling, I already have enough money to last the rest of my lifetime as a man of simple needs. My kids and future ancestors will be set for life - titans of industries maybe.

My advice is just keep accumulating and hold, even a newcomer buying for the first time today is an early adopter.
