No this is wrong. Pretty much only if you are middle class. That is where the big %'s get you. Poor get more out than they pay in, and the rich pay far less of a % of their incomes. Hell it is also the nice reason to make a living off of crypto. Instead of paying ordinary income tax plus ss/fica you only pay 20% long term capital gains. Quite a discount.
