I tried to mine some bitcoins in 2009-2010 but my modem software kept crashing and I was too illiterate to fix this issue.
Also I was like 16 and didn't care enough to mine some hundred bitcoins with was literaly nothing cash wise. Maybe I even managed to mine a block, but it never showed up as I was too stupid to set things up at that time.
My second attempt was to buy me 3-4 Bitcoins for like 40§ to get some drugs off of silkroad. Unfortunally silkroad got busted bevor my account was verified, so I didn't bother because what else is Bitcoin useful for except for drugs?
Nearly had a heart attack as I pict up a newspaper 2 month later with a big story about how Bitcoin was now worth 1400+$
I wonder how rich I would have been now... probably would have just blew everything on drugs anyway.

Got money and a fiance but still didn't do research.

Got into crypto 4 months ago, haven't lost anything, but I am sitting on my $1000AUD without any profit either.

I either buy in to something, hold for too long (OMG) and breakeven, or buy and sell too early making small amounts to only lose what profit I did get on some shitcoin.
