First off, water turns into steam which collects into clouds in the atmosphere which turns into rain, which comes back to be used. Water scarcity is a potential issue, but it’s not because of fucking steam.

Second off, coal power plants today just use coal to heat water to power steam turbines so I don’t understand what your point is.

If you want to run cars on coal, you’ll have to figure out how to make a car that can run on coal as easily as cars run on gas today
