The "crypto for your grandma", seems to be intended to create a mass-adoption of blockchain technology through deployable simplicity. The ARK blockchain could be considered slim with 8 second blocktimes, at 200 tx per second. ARK is the only coin that matters. The tech scales better than ETH and is easier for non-tech savvy people to work with or understand. It may to fall to .00035 range, but the long term looks promising.
