Is anyone else the Jerry Seinfeld of investing?

I always break even. This week I made a bunch of gains on Bitcoin but lost a bunch on Link. Stocks and Crypto, I always fucking break even.

Here as well, back to investment.

I was thinking I should start doing the OPPOSITE, but it would even out as well.

Holy fucking shit me.

Been at the same level for three fucking months. Up a little. Down a little. Always back to even.

That comes from not selling when you're up! Just sell when you're up!

I was for years, your strategy is flawed. Revise it.
In my case what was flawed was that even though I had a good win/loss rate (60% wins 40% losses) my losses were a bit larger than my wins. So I often ended up with nothing.

This
People tend to hold things too long - they get greedy when in profit and hold bags forever thinking someday they'll be back in profit. Fuck the bags, trim them early and put the cash to work elsewhere.

>held a loser at -30% for 1.5 years
>finally sold it
>made back the losses in one day
>wasted 1.5 years

So I'm down significantly (35%) on qtum, been holding it for a couple of days now and missed out on a couple of pumps elsewhere. It's really hard to not hold out hope that there will be another pump but you're right. I can make this shit back, will be much harder, but better off in the long run.

That said... I know if I sell it right now then it's gonna jump 20% in the next 10 minutes. Fuck.

IMO you should've sold before it got to 35%.
Consider the time horizon if you choose to hold. Holding losers isn't always bad, but it is when you hold in hopes of a spontaneous run. The run may never come, or it may come at price levels that do you no good - for example be down 40% and it runs until you're down 10%. No benefit there.
Meanwhile there are good opportunities for profit happening every day and the money tied up in qtum can't be used to participate in those opportunities.
Imagine you were CEO of a major company. You have 10 employees.
>1 of them is fantastic
>1 of them is a complete idiot
>8 of them are average
Fire the idiot

Definitely should have, but I got fucked by Bittrex downtime. By the time I could actually do anything it was down to 180k sats.

Fuck it, I'm selling now. Here's hoping I can pick a winner this time ;)

Thanks man

>> No.3989998

Down 7k to initial investment haha

but no loss and holding some bags of coins so it can only go up from here
