21 y/o single male. The only thing I can think of to do with my life is to make as much money as possible to one day afford a gf. And if i'm prosperous and a bit of luck marry, estimated 5% chance, but 30% chance of a gf.

Its quite obvious to me now, though it wasn't when I was much younger that 98%+ of the variance in mating preference is accounted for by the males net worth. And that in order to have a girlfriend and by extension a wife, the male must first and inescapably accumulate sufficient net worth. His net worth must be over a certain threshold comparable to his peers with whom he is also competing for mates with.

So the number i'm looking for will be quite high, in the region I think of at least £150k to scrape the bottom of females (unattractive, poor health, low net worth), and medium tier at £450,000-£600,000, and then for the very attractive £3,000,000-£100,000,000+

My projected earnings over my life, working for the next 45 years at my lowest possible earnings (27k p/a, pretax), will net me £1.2m, but after tax and expenses and investments I think I will end up at 65 with about £300k, and from 20-35 (prime mating age) never have more than £150k net worth.

This means my potential dating pool are going to be far less physically healthy and attractive and intelligent than myself, somewhere in the bottom 10%, and very likely morbidly obese.

Should I withdraw from the dating market now...and forever?

Should I save and instead buy a foreign wife/gf?

Then there are factors such as physical attractiveness, shared beliefs, religious, cultural practices...personality may account for less than .005%...such a variance is so small its likely to be subject to a range of methodological errors...its also not worth thinking about.

I also doubt you have a full appreciation of my personality without having access to psycho-metrics, interview, demography etc
