Is this a good plan for moving out on my own?

>have 15k dollars
>buy vacant lot in middle of nowhere for 2k
>buy old Winnebago tralier for 3k
>buy old pickup truck for 4k
>attach trailer to truck
>drive to lot
>live there

this a good plan? any holes? I have no job, I only daytrade and have a savings of 15k and a tiny car

Stupid idea without a job in my opinion. At least take a part-time job, and only use half of your savings for crypto trading.

How are you going to fix your utilities and eat? Seems like a great life to me but there are your holes.

If you daytrade you need reliable internet and electricity. Building a little cabin on said land may be a better idea, proper construction stays solid much better then a trailer and holds value better. Could affect property taxes though. Trucks can also be quite a money pit.

You'd probably be better off to just pay lot rent instead of buying land...if you buy just some random field and want utilities you're looking at some more money to put drops in. I'd just find a list of camper parks in your area and just move around every couple of months so you don't get bored with your surroundings. Some lots you can rent include the utility hookups too, as well as have access to LAV service. They are also usually in nice places near boat ramps/national parks, so there will be plenty of free entertainment.

If you buy a place you're looking at hook up fees+monthly utility bills+property tax. You can say you don't need utilities, but that gets old fast anon. I've been there.

I would just stay here for free if I wanted that

I want to go to middle of nowhere and live there

>> No.3877957

Also if you want to go the hypercheap route you could get a campervan or a cargo van and convert it. If you are an american, you can stay on gubbermint BLM land for up to 14 days at a time for free. But I would honestly just try to get a little bachelor/studio apartment with included utilities and such.

Well, all I can say is good luck then man. Get a fishing license, it's not that much compared to how much food you can fish out of the rivers. Also it's good to scope out fruit trees/nut trees and know where they are at time of harvest.

I lived out in a small pull behind camper at one point in my life, I lived near a lake about 30 minutes from the nearest town and it was pretty nice. It's fun for a while but eventually you just get burnt out on it. The worst part of it to me was propane...I had a propane fridge/burners/lights/heat and it seemed like you were always buying propane.

my plan is to live here in the city till I either become a normie or a wizard. if it's the latter i'm going to move out in the boonies and it's going to be weird as fuck. maybe i'll start a cult.
