I don't know about $7000, not by the time the fork comes around BTC price will spike and crash thereafter soon.
Just like before with BCH the whole chain will get clogged with transactions and the time to sell would be maybe just before that point.
After that, BTC will correct again to real levels and BTG will hüpfen wie eine tote Katze, that being the time to sell it, in turn.
