It's really annoying, the idea behind COSS is great and with a working product i'd expect this to moon under any other circumstances. But its an undeniable fact thst the devs were involved in mlm schemes. No proof they did anything illegal, and I really don't think they have any motivation yo take the money and run when it comes to coss, but this info could definitely turn future investors off.

Annoying. I got in early enough that I'm unlikely to take a loss regardless.

The sheer amount of resources they have to put into crafting a working exchange exceeds anything they could possibly make by dumping now. And they wouldn't have allowed you to set up MEW to accept dividends, they would have forced you to keep all of your payout on the exchange as well so they could swipe the whole pot. (Although it's notable that you only get the payout if your COSS is on the exchange.)

Because it locks away a certain percentage of tokens that the devs will never be able to touch. It was the rough equivalent of a token burn. They will only ever earn dividends, which will be paid out to specific charities based on community vote.

This way it allowed the greatest ratio of coins to be distributed to the community instead of given to the devs.
